RESEARCH INTERESTS

Dr. Hendrie leads a multi-disciplinary group who are conducting international comparative studies of dementia and Alzheimer's Disease in Nigeria and the United States. He is also collaborating with Dr. Christopher Callahan in intervention trials for the treatment of depression and dementia in primary care.  In addition, with Dr. Mary Austrom and Dr. Teresa Damush, he is conducting surveys of retired physicians and their spouses focusing on predictors of life satisfaction.
