GOCAR's long-term vision is improving the health and healthcare of older adults, and in pursuing gero-informatics, we strive to uphold both patients' and professionals' health-related values and goals.

Evidence of GOCAR's success will include recognition of our work outside and inside the institution, funding and publications, and implementations or uses of gero-informatics tools. Finally, enthusiasm and affirmations that the Center for Aging Research and Regenstrief Institute should continue to pursue this work will be important for success.

Dr. Weiner will lead GOCAR activities to foster organizational development and evolution, to rally cooperation and enhance collaboration, to build commitment among our stakeholders and to expand requisite resources to meet GOCAR's mission.
